Mathieu Paquier is Professor (60th CNU section) at the University of Brest (Université de Bretagne Occidentale – UBO, France).
He teaches courses in musical acoustics, psychoacoustics, electroacoustics, audio technologies, digital audio in the Image & Sound training program (BS+MS). From 2002 to 2012 and from 2015, he managed the Image & Sound department.
His research interests mainly include the sound perception, especially spatial perception and evaluation of sound reproduction systems. He also coordinates the activities of the « Sound Perception » group of the IHSEV team of the LAB-Sticc.
